What’s Taking Place at CCF:
LADIES BIBLE STUDY … All ladies are invited to the resumption of the Ladies Bible Study to resume on Wednesday, November 19, 7:00 pm, at the home of Erin Wright. This is a great time for you to break away from your busy schedules and have a retreat. For more information, please see Juanita Reyes.
THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION … look forward to an exciting worship experience as we hold Thanksgiving Service and Dinner on Sunday, November 23, beginning at 3:00 pm, at the home of Joe & Danielle Botticelli. This event will take the place of our morning worship service that day. Plan on coming to this event and start inviting your friends. For more information, please see Pastor George.
MIDWEEK BIBLE STUDY … We invite everyone to our Midweek Bible Study which will resume on WEDNESDAY, November 26, at 7:00 pm at the home of EDWIN & RAQUEL COQUICO. The bi-weekly study will focus on the book of REVELATION. This Bible Study is for all adults and teens. Nursery will be provided. For more information, please see Pastor Joe.
RELIEF KITS FOR REFUGEES. As you may have heard, many of our Christian brothers and sisters in Iraq have been killed, or forced to flee their homes due to persecution. There is a great need for critical supplies for these families, and we have a chance to participate. On Sunday, November 16, we will be putting together "Relief Kits" at the Eddy household. Please join us if you have the chance, or bring donations to any church function.
Relief Kits Include:
4 bars of bath soap
1 bottle shampoo
10 cups powdered laundry detergent (double bag in 1-gallon resealable plastic bags)
1 squeeze-tube of toothpaste
4 adult size toothbrushes
4 new bath towels (medium weight, dark color)
1 hairbrush
1 comb
1 fingernail clipper
1 box bandaids (minimum 40)
1 package sanitary pads (18-24 thin maxi or ultra thin)
We will also be gathering blankets (winter weight, new twin or full size), and new items for infant relief. For details, see the flyer or look up kit contents and blanket specifications at mcc.org. Every donation will be appreciated!Kits and blankets will be delivered to the MCC regional office for shipment to Iraq. Keep them in your prayers!
